Gopher Wheelmen Juniors

Juniors Team:

"Juniors" are bike racers age 10 to 18. The focus of this team is to give kids a somewhat structured group in which to ride and race their bikes. We ride and race both on the road and off-road (mountain bike).

Training Rides
"We have been running one juniors specific off-road training ride each week from May through August."

Racing
Goals and expectations are determined by each rider. There are no specific racing requirements. Team members are free to race when and where they wish. Usually team members will coordinate which races they want to do so they can race with other teammates and have more fun. The team does provide free membership to juniors that compete in three or more race per year.
